Don't forget, you only have 4 days left to complete the family survey for Karval Schools! The information from your response to this survey will be very helpful to school and district leaders in working to improve the learning experience for all our students. The survey is anonymous. No one will know your identity, not even the University of Colorado Denver researchers administering the survey. If you have children in more than one school, you can take the survey for each school if you wish to do so. We estimate the survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete on average.

🍂🎃 Our Fall Festival is underway! 🎃🍂 Our vendors are all set up and ready for you! 🛍️ Come shop, browse, and show some love to these amazing small businesses while enjoying all the fun of our Fall Festival! 🍁🧡 There’s something special about bringing our community together, and we’re so excited to have everyone here! 📍 Come see us at Karval School and support our wonderful vendors!

Our leaders are learners. Mrs. Corn and Mrs. Nuss attended the National Forum to Advance Rural Education in San Antonio, TX. Hoping to take inspiration from other rural schools around the nation, the two ladies had an inspiring (and fun!) time traveling and sharing thoughts. Rural education is amazing and innovative and diverse. Taking time away to learn and grow is how Karval teachers and leaders can bring the very best to our school.

Sharing a fun moment from this week at Karval!

Students in Creative Writing class interviewed our kindergarten through 3rd-grade students about their favorite books for a new project! Both groups had fun and learned something along the way.

Our elementary students practiced describing their favorite books and expressing what they like about them. Meanwhile, our high school students learned how to adjust their questions for different age groups—from kindergartners to 3rd graders—and how to get some great answers along the way!

At Karval, our older and younger students have lots of opportunities to interact throughout the day, and moments like this are one of the things that make our school special.
